Scamming dentist. They fource you to do root canals just to pay their bills because they have no patients there ever. They rush through procedures that suppose to take an hour, all they care about is maxing out your insurance card and making you come back a thousand times. And charging you for procedures that your insurance only pay half for on purpose so you have to pay out of pocket from debt card. Poor customer service. Never again!
I wish I can give 0 stars, this dentist will try and force you to do services you don't need, they won't do 3 things in one day they try to make you come back in 15 visits and max out your whole insurance min.... just to pay their rent. All they care about is rushing you and going home early. You get there 4-8 min late they will make an excuse as to they don't have enough time just so they can leave @ 4:45pm on dot. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean and state of the art. My x-rays, cleaning and exam were comprehensive and painless. They were highly informative and helped me choose what was best for me, without trying to upsell. Very reasonably priced considering the high quality service. I've been to several dentists over the years and Ocean Dentistry was by far the best.
Went in for the first time today due to all the great reviews. I had an exam, X-rays, and cleaning. The receptionist was really sweet and the dental assistant was really cool. However, after my X-rays were completed the doctor just walked in the room and started looking at my X-rays and charting them with the dental assistant. Being I was a new patient, I thought she would have acknowledged me or at least introduced herself. I was a bit offended by that. I am a college student who has no dental insurance.my previous dentist told me that I have two cavities and one old filling need to be fixed. I just can't afford the price they told me. So, one of my friends recommended me Dr. Ruan. The nurses and the doctor's services are great. They did not over charge me. Dr. Ruan told me I only need to fix my upper left last molar.
