Ruined Mother's Day 2010 - Couldn't Pay Me to go Back! – The worst service I've ever experienced in my life! We wanted to take 2 mothers and a mother-to-be out for Mother's Day breakfast in Newport so we decided on this place. We made a reservation since we were a party of 10 and we knew they got busy on weekends -- especially holidays. Not too shabby – I missed breakfast by 12 minutes so had to have lunch. I got the lobster salad which was good with balsamic vinegar and olive oil dressing. (Doesn't come with the salad,that's my taste preference.) I really liked the thick rye bread(you get your choice of breads). It was soft, with a good crust. Loved it. They have excellant food, good portions, and okay service. The only thing is they are expensive so be prepared to pay the price! We still go from time to time & always will they do make the best homefries around!
excellent breakfast spot great coffee with a large variety of flavors. very busyon weekends and in the summer. great service. locally owned. known well for their excellent filling breakfasts. excellent omelets.
