Fantastic dinner as always. My wife and I try to visit local restaurants on our date nights and Ocean Blue is always top of the list. Great people from top to bottom, management to wait staff. Always a positive atmosphere from everyone in the building. I couldn't say enough positive things about the restaurant and the people there!
Went to pick up my son from Pratt Institute at Utica to bring him home for the summer holidays and we decided to check out the restaurant. We ran into the owner of the building who directed us to the place, what are the odds? His son, he told us, is the Chef. The Chilean Seabass and Scallops were great. However, the calamari appetizer took too long to come out; and the entrée took forever. Maybe because we were in a hurry to hit the roads back to NYC. 5 star from the time we entered the elevator until we left! Every item ordered was over the top flavorful and cooked to perfection. Can't say enough about the owners and their well taken care of happy friendly staff. This place is unlike any place in upstate NY. Do yourself a favor and make the trip out. We will definitely be back!
Ocean blue is the crown jewel of Utica! Great cocktails, great food, great atmosphere.
