Close to everything Ocean Beach Motel is right next to the beach and on the main strip (Newport Avenue) in Ocean Beach. It is a great spot if you want to be close to the action. It can be noisy at night since it is right next to the bars.
Hotel Rooms are about as regular as one can get. Dogs are allowed in some rooms. Can get loud as right downtown in OB.
Location, location, location! Ocean Beach Motel is a great place due to its proximity to the sand (across the street!) and all the action of OB's night life. I would not recommend it for people who are bothered by noise or are light sleepers because you will hear it into the late hours of the night. They renovated the place a couple of years ago, and while it is still fairly old and the rooms are quite small, it does seem a LOT clearer (and less seedy!) now. Fun place to stay in the summer!
