Great Doctor, very caring and shows concern. Nice to have someone that looks after you. He gets 10 big gold stars from me.
Never really needed much before except regular check ups, which anyone can do, but now that im actually having some problems, he doesn't do anything more then blood work and is dismissive and has no clue what to do beyond blood work. I even had to push him to do more myself, hello who's the doctor here, why am I the one telling the doctor what to do for tests. At least try to be a doctor and do something. Always quick to get me in, and listens/addresses my concerns on every visit, even if I bring up multiple. I've been a patient for several years and have not had a bad experience with Dr. Owanga.
My experience with Dr. Owanga has been awful. He is incredibly dismissive and does not care he just wants you in and out he doesn’t believe in mental illness or women’s health. Even my son’s physical health has been mishandled I had gone to him for multiple reasons. 1. Being sleep 2. ADHD which my therapist has confirmed I have but she cannot diagnose me or give out a prescription. 3. Gallbladder issues and IBS Issues 4.
