For anyone concerned about iud insertion, read this. I had gotten a Mirena iud many years ago at the Palm Beach blvd gyn. It was my first insertion, and I had to take a cervix pill to loosen it for insertion. When this procedure was done, they were training a woman to do the procedure. The pain was gruesome. This is an awesome Gyn office. Staff are awesome. Doctors and nurse practitioners are top notch. I would not go anywhere else. Make your appointments well in advance, because they are busy.
