Went in for my first prenatal appointment and just didn’t feel confident in the care at all. I was told that I would only see a doctor if I’m high risk. I’m over 35, pre-diabetic and conceived through IVF… what more do I need to be considered high risk? I also just don’t think I vibed with the mid-wife. I am so frustrated and upset with the service provided here. Today I called the OBS-GYN office in New City. I called for help with my prenatal pills because the pharmacy and my insurance said they couldn't cover them until my doctor authorized them to be filled. I called the office and the response they gave me was, "If your insurance doesn't cover them, there's nothing they can do." They hung up on me. They didn't bother to help me.
