I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Venka. I found her to be rude and dismissive throughout my appointment, and I did not feel that my concerns were taken seriously. I left feeling like I wasn’t given the care and attention I expected. Based on my personal experience, I would not trust her with my treatment or recommend her to others. I expected a much higher level of professionalism and compassion from a healthcare provider.
Definitely did NOT want to go back there for my second pregnancy. I felt I was rushed out of the rooms every time I went for my appointments asking questions while walking out. Did not feel like they handled me well being a high risk age. Asked for a referral for a more professional knowledgeable OB for my second pregnancy due to a lot of complications that occurred during and after delivery with my first baby.
Dr Venka is great but her secretary lacks compassion in a medical field, which is crucial to her job. On my last appointment I was told by Dr Venka to return when I plan to conceive. Fast forward 1.5 years later I wished to return as per her directions and was met with very dismissive behaviour by her secretary because I haven’t attended the clinic in over a year. I had a great experience during my recent visit! Salu was incredibly helpful in assisting me with choosing the right glasses—she was patient, knowledgeable, and made the process really easy. Staffy also did a fantastic job with the eye tests, explaining everything clearly. Both were professional, friendly, and made the whole appointment smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend their service!
