While Dr Obrien is a very skilled surgeon as he fixed my right knee, I had to ask him to do a scope as he kept blaming my weight and mild arthritis in the knee for my pain. He found multiple meniscus tears, and tears in my ACL. He doesn't listen to his patients if he feels they are over weight. This past visit, I waited 6 months for an ortho consult for hamstring rupture and knee hypertension and he passed the buck and wanted nothing to do with me. Dr. O'Brien operated to replace both my right and left hip in 2024/2025. He is an excellent surgeon! The suggestion to do a spinal instead of being put to sleep was very helpful toward recovery! The entire team, including Krista, and Andre are incredibly helpful! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. O'Brien and his whole team from the Dartmouth Orthpedic Clinic!
