A Spa With A Big Heart I was hesitant to come to this spa at first because of some of the negative reviews, but I decided to take a risk. OMG what a WONDERFUL place and decision on my part! A friend of mine who referred me here said "It's the little spa with a big heart" and that is absolutely true. I decided to treat myself to the Just For Him package that included a one hour massage, Gentleman's facial, and sport manicure. First, my massage therapist was one of the best I've ever had and I am very picky. She detected right... read more
Great Couples Massage! I recently went to the Oasis for the winterwonderland package. It was so nice, we had a great massage, both therapists were very strong and did an awesome job on listening and taking the time to focus on our sore spots. We then did a whirlpool together, we have bubbles and candles, very nice. Last we got a foot treatment, it was nice to be alone in the room and both therapists were very friendly and took care to give a good foot massage. Thanks for being there for us at the end of a busy year!!
Bad Pedicure! Did not like the pedicure AT ALL!!!! The water was cold most of the time. She trimmed my toenails uneven and then did not file them to correct it. I am glad that I used a groupon for the services so that I did not have to pay the $60 for a bad pedicure. Probably won't go there again!!
very poor customer service. I had a similar experience to another reviewer on this site. I purchased two Groupons as a gift for a family member. I called approximately three weeks before they were to expire, and the owner said there were "no Groupon appointments available." If we wanted them to honor the Groupon, we would have to pay an extra $25. I continued to ask her if they only allowed a certain number of "Groupon appointments" per day or per week, and she neglected to answer this question. In the end, I requested a ref... read more
rude owner owner is rude and talks down to customers.... Does not honor Groupon coupons that were purchased. Called one month before expiration of coupon and was told that I had to pay $25 upcharge because they were completely booked until the coupon expired. Owner stated I should not have waited until the last minute to make a reservation. One month in advance??!! Not a single opening?! BS!
A little bit of heaven Oasis Day SPA is a joy to spend a little bit of "me" time at. The ease of making an appointment that's convenient for me and the calm welcoming receptionist starts the time off on a serene note. The setting also adds to the peaceful atmosphere. The therapist was amazing, accomodating my every request and personalizing my massage working on the areas where I needed relief. It was just an over-all pleasant experience, one that I would like to repeat over and over. Every attention is given to every desire... read more
Thank you for accomodating the late Chicago people :-) Well I have to say that the Oasis Day Spa made accomodations for me and my boyfriend who I was bringing up to the salon for a V-day surprise for a couples massage. We were coming down from Chicago for a concert and thought I'd add a little something extra into our weekend for him. We were running late, ran into traffic and due to my speeding, got a speeding tickets along the way. I did call the salon to let them know where I was throughout the 2 hour drive and can say th... read more
Oasis Day Spa is awesome in reference to "i want my money back" that is not the spa. the salon and spa are two seperate businesses. please get your information correct. and the pedicure comment is just retarded. if you asked the girls to cool the water off they would. ive gotten many services there and i know some of the people that work there. they are always aiming to please. plus their hands are in the water, like they want to burn themselves or you. dumb
Couples massage Thanks so much for taking care of us, it was last minute and Oasis Day Spa fit us in. We enjoyed 2 hour massages in the same room, private whirlpool tub, wine and bubbles. The staff is very friendly and willing to accommodate. Thanks for a great time!
