Worse hair day of my life 1/26/08 was may second visit to the Oasis Hair salon with my daughter. I was intending to get a body wave and cute. My stylistMs Mavik recommended I tint my roots and get a perm insisting it would be better...I have not had a perm or wave in over 10 years. I agreed and told her I trusted her. Botched bride I was going to a formal event and wanted my hair relaxed the weekend before. I've had this done many, many times before at other salons and have never had a problem. I got the relaxer...the next morning, I realized that not all of the neutralizing conditioner had not been washed out and had hardened in my hair overnight! great pedicures I keep going back to this place although they are far from where I live because they are great. I've been to lots of places like this and was really impressed. The staff are nice and very skilled. They give great pedicures and you don't feel like you've just thrown away money - they last a long time too. I tell all my friends about it because it is convenient because it is part of Dulles Towne Center.
Aveda Acne Facial Today I went to the Oasis salon on a whim to get a facial. Usually I go to the Aveda salon in Reston, but I thought that I would give Oasis a try because they were a little bit cheaper. At first I was a little apprehensive, but they did such a great job. I was originally going to get the signature facial, but I was convinced to do the 90 minute acne facial. Bad Experience I was today in this salon and I am very disappointed. The stylist doesn't know how to do a simple cut, she was so rough on my hair and was cutting so fast and so carelessly that one time she almost cut her own fingers. I call her attention on it and then she stop but first, she try to cut my bangs doing a terrible job. This lady ruined my her. She couldn't even blow dry my hair nicely.
