This place is amazing!!! I'm a CNA that's been to about every place in the area for 1 reason or another and this is THE ONLY place I would consider if/when the time comes that I could no longer care for my mama. The gentleman I've cared for over 10 yrs recently became a resident and the level of care, thoughtfulness, kindness and understanding goes beyond expectations. Last summer we needed a place for my sister, and Oakwood Senior Living was our answer. I’ve always had a terrible fear of the thought of putting a family member in a facility. The first time I walked through the door at Oakwood, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. The place is amazingly beautiful!!! RJ Russell goes above and beyond for all the residents. He is so sincere and thoughtful. He helps my mom Mary Ellis daily. He has made her being here so much better.
My Dad is very content at Oakwood, and we are very happy with the level of care they provide. The Wellness Director, RJ, is always available to answer my questions and quickly attend to any special needs he has.
It’s never an easy decision. But Finding a place that doesn’t make you feel guilty for needing the assistance, or a place that feels more like a hotel than AL, is priceless!
