I am suppose to be buying a home from Oakwood. After reading some of these comments I am a little worried. Is there any more satisfied customers out there?
Do not do business with these people! They took us for all we had as first time homebuyers! They lied to us about Vanderbilt (their company) being the only place we could get the loan and stuck us with a 10 percent interest rate as all they could get us qualified for (false as our credit union would have done it at half that we found out later) and added so much into our price that our mortgage is double what the home is even worth. the customer service is terrible they will lie straight to your face do not buy a home from these people. they did a horrible job on our landscape its all weeds & they refuse to fix it. Didn't give us the right interior color. Didnt keep us updated on the building process & made decisions without consulting us about them.
The ethics of this great team speaks volumes to each and every customer they serve.
