My husband and I enjoyed a great lunch at the Oakwood Bistro, while on vacation last week. Everyone was cordial and the service was very good. We will definitely return when we are in the area!!

One should consider ordering a salad without dead insects when getting a salad. A salad at our table arrived with a dead ladybug in it. I fully understand that things happen. I also feel that anyone managing or working at a restaurant with pretensions of fine dining ought to be horrified at the idea of dead insects in the food. The waitress was cavalier and tried to be cutesy through the rest of the meal. I used to enjoy going to the Oakwood Bistro. Next time I'll be going downtown....

Oakwood Bistro is our very favorite restaurant! The food is always consistently wonderful, the service is outstanding, and we've met many wonderful folks while sitting at the bar!
