Whoa Oakwood Bistro. What has happened? Mediocre food, uncooked quinoa and what looked like a Jaws attack scene in the women's toilet.

The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting and the wait staff attentive and friendly. They easily accommodated a party of 18 with a reservation and no wait. The food was excellent from the calamari appetizer to the risotto, pizza and steak and topped off with bread pudding and crème brûlée. A full bar serving deliciously prepared martinis to a nice selection of beer and wine. A favorite now when in Kalamazoo. I highly recommend it!!

Food is amazing, everything is prepared in house, lots of pride in the food being made by a group of talented chefs and cooks. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that gets off on wonderful flavors in their mouth.
I've never had a bad meal here. Tasty and quick. Even when it's busy, the wait staff is patient and the order comes out right every time.
