History Established in 1999. Founded in June of 1999 by Dr. Thomas Garey, a Delaware native and graduate of Rutherford B Hayes High School and The Ohio State University. Moved to our new location on Valleyside Drive in September of 2014.

Unfortunately this is NOT the place to go to if you are a new patient.
Have been with Dr. Garey since he first opened. Many animals that we have and had were seen by him. He was always very caring and down to earth. After 20 years in Delaware we moved South and a year later have not been able to find someone even close to Oakside and Dr. Garey
We worked most recently with Dr. Glick (now Dr. Dunn) for our dog Bo however we have worked with many of the vets there. They have all been class acts and gave us the time and solutions that we have asked for. In March of 2019. Bo was diagnosed with Lymphoma. Of course it was a major blow to hear those words about our family pet-the the only brother our 6 year old son has ever known. I have been taking my pets to Oakside since 1999. Even after moving an hour away, I still take my babies there. They genuinely care, are compassionate, communicate, and have very reasonable rates. I trust them implicitly. There isn't enough space for all of the good things I could say. They have been with me from my pets beginning of life through to end of life, more than once.

Dropped our girl off and they immediately took care of her! She had to get an unexpected surgery and the Dr. kept me update throughout the whole experience!
