Our dog Penny had to go in for emergency bladder stone surgery and everyone at Oaks Vet took such good care of her. Thank you to Dr. Kohltfarber, Shawn, Ellie and Morgan who helped us every step of the way!
Horrible experience. Avoid Oaks Veterinary Urgent Care due to deceptive pricing, poor service, and shady receipt practices. They charge double the standard exam fee, add a hidden 3% surcharge on cc payments without disclosure, and obstruct you from using outside pharmacies. After refusing a paper prescription, they promised to call Costco but never did, forcing me to drive to the clinic just to get answers. Furthermore, they do not provide receipts unless demanded. Had a great experience at Oaks Veterinary Urgent Care. The waiting room and exam room were both very nice, clean, and comfortable. The receptionist greeted us with a bright smile and had such a positive attitude. She was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely wanted to help us. The veterinarian was also very kind and understanding. This place is wonderful. My little morkie became very ill and started seizing one Sunday afternoon. This came out of nowhere. We rushed her to Oaks Veterinary Urgent Care, and they took her in immediately. The veterinarian was so very kind and compassionate. She took time with us, went over our options and answered all of our questions. The entire time she demonstrated patience, caring and empathy . Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to my dog that day.
