Our young Air Force family moved to Gainesville in 1984 and chose to settle here three years later and acquired our first dog, Mickey, a beautiful, strong, healthy, responsive fellow, in '90. We chose Oaks for our pets because they were in the neighborhood. the vet and vet techs are wonderful with animals my dog Rocky was so scared and shaking when they took him in the back to get weighted, when he came back to me he was calm and not scared. wonderful people. would recommend them highly.
Dr. Dean and the rest of the staff go out of their way to take care of your pet and by extension you. They take time to explain things to you, and always ask about all of your pets when you go in. Dr. Dean always goes above and beyond for us even stopping at Publix to make sure a prescription got called in for our dog and her off day. I highly recommend her and everyone at Oaks Vet, and all of my pets do too!
Oaks Vet has been taking care of my rescue Greyhounds for twenty years. For thoughtful care backed up by the latest equipment and research, call the vets at Oaks vet. PS The pet resort is awesome, too!!

Have been going to them for over 20 years. Everyone is always great, all the staff and the Drs are wonderful. All my dogs love them ,especially Dr. Dean. She is great with all the dogs. They all love her and so do we. We would recommend Oaks Vets to any one.
