RecommendedSince I live some distance away, I spend the night with my mom when I visit and eat meals in The Oaks dining room. I have found the staff to be caring, hardworking, and capable. I am always welcomed, and witness the staff popping in and out of my mom's room. She knows them by name and has a quick conversation with them. She has made friends, and welcomes new residents. RecommendedI truly love this place and I truly could not have picked a more perfect place for my Mother. She did not even want to come here but after two days here.....she thanked me and told me she LOVES IT here!!! I have watched her flourish and be more herself since she got here. I can not say enough good things about the staff....they go above and beyond to make sure Mom is happy and taking care of daily. Thanks to The Oaks in Pooler we appreciate all of you.

RecommendedOur family and our loved one loves the Oaks. The staff and residents are amazing! The facility is new and has the look and feel of a ski lodge! The Oaks offers excellent extracurricular activities keeping the residents busy and entertained. The on staff Chef delights the residents tummies 3 times a day and families our encouraged to partake as often as they desire. I highly recommend this senior living community!
The caretakers take over 20 minutes to answer my moms call pendant most of the time and they laugh at her when they have to clean her up. The food has gone downhill since she first started living there 6 months ago, so now she doesn’t want to eat it. The caretakers are underpaid so they don’t care about your loved one that’s living there, and that’s who interacts with them the most.
