These are the absolute worst apartments in the world. Roach infected, no maintenance and no management. Apartments are falling apart, there are break ins and it stinks. Stray animals are everywhere. Just over all terrible

This once was a nice and clean place to stay. The manager was a little strict but she made sure she got kid of the riff raff and was remodeling the apartments. Now this place is an embarrassment. Trash overflowing, the garbage can wich carriers a terrible smell since Memorial Day, The only time a person is there is when rent is due. When rent is due and your late then they will call you. Pathetic maintenance. Management is useless a three year old with a box of crayons could do a better job then these guys.
I live in Oakely Shoals, and my apartment has been broken in to 3 times in 2 months... The manager is incompetent and does not care what so ever.. she will not let us know when someone breaks in others apartment. She will not tell you the truth even if you were to ask her point blank. You do no want to live out here.. Neighbors have been mugged at gunpoint and someone was even shot recently. They are doors being kicked in in the day time too. I am a current resident of Oakley Shoals and I ll be the first to tell you that this is not a safe place to live. There is a non stop parade of young kids (late teens) that use this complex as their personal short cut to the corner store. My apartment was burglarized in broad day light. there has been a rash of robberies (at gunpoint) in and around the complex. And the worse part of it all, is that the Manager is doing nothing about it. She actually tried to defend the fact that we DON T have security. saying to me that it w... read more
Beautiful Apartments! Cost Effective, and quiet. What more could you ask for?
I AM THE NEW MANAGER OF OAKLEY SHOALS APARTMENTS. I HAVE BEEN HERE SINCE 7-13-2010, AND HAVE YET TO SEE OR HEAR OF ANY BREAK-INS. I HAVE PERSONALLY MADE SOME CHANGES ON THE PROPERTY. WE DO HAVE A FULL TIME COURTSEY OFFICER WHO LIVES ON SITE. WE ARE CHANGING MORE AND MORE EVERYDAY TO ENSURE THAT OAKLEY SHOALS IS A WONDERFUL PLACE TO CALL HOME. PLEASE FELL FREE TO COME BY AND MEET ME ANYTIME.
This is not a place you would want to live. They are understaffed, and I wish I would have known this before I moved in. It takes too long for complanits to be answered. The office is rarely open.
