Felt like I wasn’t taken seriously by the doctor. Even though tests came back clearly stating I have arthritis in my foot along with a spur; things were just “not adding up” and “people my age don’t have these issues”. A brace, injection, and MRI later all to be made to feel like I’m making everything up. Also, poor billing system/department. Not a great experience.

RecommendedMy first Emergency Room experience was with Oaklawn, and while there was a seemingly long wait, all staff was extremely helpful and very friendly and compassionate. They made sure I was comfortable and taken care of throughout my 4.5 hours I was there. Based on this experience, I would highly recommend Oaklawn!
