Did not have trauma-informed counselors that fully understood all the elements of coercive control and abusive family dynamics. Their goal wasn’t to heal you but to keep you coming back for more therapy sessions and to profit off you financially. They took away anything and everything that could possibly help you cope then blamed you for struggling.
Went to group therapy 6 times so I could get referred to a psychiatrist and therapist. Two months later, still dont have either. They charge a facility fee for group therapy that wasnt covered by my insurance. I didnt expect group to be free, but I cant and wont pay $487 for administrative fees they didnt tell me about in the first place. Deceptive at best.
