They do not answer the phone. You can’t leave a message. Once they answered and transferred my call to the memory care unit, only to have my call go unanswered. After so many rings the phone automatically hangs up. This has been going on for over a month. O/10 do not recommend!
Thank you to the wonderful staff at Oakey Assisted Living. Our mom was very happy during her time there. Staff members were always attentive and friendly. Mom enjoyed the food a lot, as well as the new friends she met among residents. The facility is clean, and staff work hard to offer activities, celebrate birthdays and holidays, and respond to residents’ needs. Our mom recently passed away. Oakey Assisted living is a wonderful facility. It truly is home to great residents, they are a community of wonderful people and they have an excellent staff. The residence are well taken care of and Ms. Arlene made it such an easy, pleasant and informative experience, when getting my father housed. This is an excellent place to have loved ones call home.
My family recently lost my mother in law, who was the sole care giver for a dear family friend, which left my father in law in quite a predicament in how to provide the right care to Tommy as his dementia progressed. After many ups and downs we came across Oakey, and have been nothing but impressed with the dedicated staff, and how they care for Tommy and the other residents and how they go the extra mile to make the facility feel like home.
