We had an amazing experience with Oakes animal hospital this past Monday. We called 7 animal clinics until finally the sweet receptionist at Oakes animal hospital said “of course, bring Archie in. Can you be here at 10?”. Dr Oakes was able to assess Archie, determine what the issue was and prescribe a course of action all while our Frenchie was a typical Frenchie (aka pain in the butt). 5 stars is not even enough. I deeply regret not having gone to this hospital sooner. Unfortunately, I had to put my English Bulldog down but I honestly could not have picked a more loving, caring, and beautiful place for his passing. You can really feel the love in this place. Their staff is extremely professional and will go above and beyond to do anything for your pet. Please do not waste your time going to other places where all they care about is the money. Yes I’d defiantly recommend it here. The facility was nice and clean. Also Dr Oakes and his staff was wonderful with my dog Lola. She had UTI. First time here because I couldn’t get a hold of my regular vet which closes at 2pm everyday. Called after work today and within an hour, made an appointment and we were seen promptly. The price was reasonable! Living close to the facility was perks!
Dr. Oakes Animal Hospital is amazing! The Dr. reached out to me directly after a post I had on Facebook regarding an issue with my dog. I thought I saw her ingesting a ball. He went above and beyond to answer my questions. And got my animal in ASAP regarding my issues. And very reasonable pricing. We did confirm today she did not indeed ingest what I thought she did by X-ray, but I feel so much better now. Thank you for going above and beyond on helping our family. I would like to thank Dr. Oakes and his staff for their prompt, courteous, and compassionate service today. We had to put our 12 year old Sphynx, Zoey, down today. It wasn’t an easy decision, but with Dr. Oakes affirmation that we were making the right decision, it made the process a little easier knowing she was going to be at peace. Thank you so much!! my fiance and i have been looking for a decent vet for a while... we have one in davenport but to get there its almost an hour drive... we tried Dr. Oaks for out pups lump on his leg and the service and the professionalism was supurb! nice environment, friendly atmosphere! i highly recommend these guys!
