My family frequented this place often since my parents use to live across the street. Last Sunday we treated very disrespectfully by the host who we found out was the owner:(. During morning rush we waited patiently for a table and even allowed others to pass us since are party was not complete. When the party of 12 was ready we asked nicely, how much longer? He screamed. I SAID TEN MORE MINUTES! As 10 people also waiting saw this, my mom says. I m sorry we came at 1115 not at noon. He again, says with glaring eyes and nostr... read more

Worst breakfast in Chicago – When we arrived the host, who we latter found out was the owner.Rudely sat us at a table in front by the host stand because we had children.Whenever he would pass our table we all gasped for air,he smelled of cigarettes so bad.My mother dld not care for her salad.,the owner came by and said the salad was ftne, your paying for it.I did not. Never again will I go there

NOT GUEST SERVICE ORTIENTED AT ALL – My friend, used to love going to Oak Tree, so we decided to go there for brunch recently. BIG MISTAKE!! The Host "The owner of the restaurant" was extremely rude to us. He made it seem like a big deal when we asked for a table by the window even though there were plenty of window tables available, they were not busy at all, and there were no other customers waiting to be seated. The host's aggressive attitude was completely unwarranted. He made us feel so uncomfortable and we had to leave... read more

Breads are amazing! – I have been here twice now and still not let down. The first time I only got fresh sourdough bread from the bakery and would honestly say its the freshest, softest bread I've ever got. The next time was a perfect stop after shopping on Michigan Ave with some of my friends. We had a light lunch and continued on. I heard breakfast is fantastic as well, so I'll be back to try that too!

Beautiful place for lunch – I was really impressed when my friend took me to Oak Tree after shopping. The view was AMAZING. I tried the Endive & Roquefort salad. It had candied pecans, pears, and a balsamic vinaigrette. The portion was nice and large - I like big salads. The bread was fantastic and baked fresh. I will definitely be back to try some of the brunch things, too.

Fresh! Delicious! – I always have a great experience when I go to Oak Tree. The fresh bakes bread varieties are amazing, and the assortment of salads have something tasty for everyone. I can't wait to go back for brunch. A few of my friends went last week and said it was delicious. Oak tree is a definite stop if you're near the 900 Shops and you're the slightest bit hungry.

After shopping, YOU MUST EAT HERE! – I had an wonderful dining experience at Oak Tree! A few girlfriends and I needed a bite to eat after an intense day of shopping. We were so impressed with the amazing design of the Oak Tree we decided to stop there after finishing up at the 900 Shops location. The view of the water was breathtaking. Our food was amazing; I had an excellent salad and a fresh piece of bread to compliment it. The girls and I are already talking about going back!

Worst customer service experience ever – I have come to this place for brunch numerous times and things have always been alright. I came in on a Saturday early afternoon, and the place is not at all crowded. Our server, Jamie, abruptly took our order. I got the spinach omelette's and substituted the cottage cheese for the potatotes (the waitress said no problem). Then when our food came out, I was given a small side of fruit instead of the cheese, so I asked the bus boy who brought the food out for my cottage cheese. 5 minut... read more

Refused to seat us – The two of us arrived for lunch and told it would be a few minutes. Then we proceeded to watch as they sat everyone who arrived after us and completely ignore us. After waiting for a bit - we just left as it became clear that we did not have their "priority" as a mixed race duo that day. Shocking to be honest!
