As a nurse, and patient, I was very impressed. They asked me questions, and paid attention to answers. They left no stone unturned. They thoroughly covered everything, and tested me for answers. I can’t wait to go back again.
They do not do what they say they will do. They do not come on time and they try to persuade you to go to their health provider, Oak Street. Do not trust them!
There are no same day appointments, there is no emergency care team and appointments are months out. The doctor I seen didn't know what a mastoid in the ear or anything about the ear other than they see infection. I wouldn't send my loved one here. It's an over rated bingo hall.
This was my first visit at Oak Street. I chose this facility because they specialize in Senior care. I shared I was there for my annual exam, but there was no examination. The NP did not even listen to my heart or lungs no EKG (I am a heart patient) - nothing. And my BP medicine was changed we no discussion at all. I talked with my pharmacist and was told the Dr had changed the prescription. Just not a good experience.
Johnnie Amadi, NP, at the Oak Street Health, Rocket City Center, Huntsville, Alabama location is a wonderful PCP. He is professional, knowledgeable, listens well, answers all questions, and is an all-around great primary care provider. The staff and nurses at this location are great, also.
