Edited 9-19-2025 My mother had a fall this passed Tuesday, I called dispatch health they came & gave her a check. The doctor heard her cough & then ordered a chest X-ray, we found out she has pneumonia in both lungs. Something that was missed on her visit Friday. If she wouldn't have fallen, we never wouldn't have known & she could've died. This just shows the negligence of the nurse practitioner at Oak Street health, they don't care about their patients, all they care about is making money. Edited: 9-12-2025 My mother went for a visit today, I couldn't go with her due to a virus. She saw Jemia Martin in instead of her regular doctor Alex Button. My mother called me, so the I could speak with Jemia, she was extremely rude. She told me that someone needs to come in with my mother next time. I told her I was sick today & she said "that's what she told me", if my mother told her why is she being rude about it? Then she told me that's she called in a dementia medicine for her. I have been a patient for a year and a half and I always get a different Dr. How is this consistent care? Next day appts are a joke!! Had to go to urgent care because they were closed on a Monday..had waited all weekend to see them. Really disappointed in the care they provide!!
The Clinic doesn't follow three with referral s. I've been waiting for 1 year for MRI and back specialist. Arthritis specialist I went last week with leg ulcers and the and doctor never saw me. MA gave me the stuff meaning to cure myself at home. They get paid per patient monthly whether I go see dr or not. Do they don't really care. I've waiting 1 year for MRI after 5 strokes and release bu hospital.
