We have visited several ccrc's, and Oak Hammock is at the top of the list. Vibrant beautifully appointed, wonderful food selections, and a pub where you can relax with friends. It has all the requirements for active adult living,, and appropriate health facilities if required.

I'm impressed with the dining room food and the hallways, apartments, and amenities. This is s great place to live and my mom loves it!❤️ The staff are friendly and competent and my only wish is that they were better compensated for all their hard work! I think the turnover would lessen with better pay, especially for dining room and housekeeping. Staff bonuses (not just the employee appreciation fund) would be welcome. I know Mom has had the same housekeeper for years (Von) and she is great!

I'm celebrating, and that's the right word, y eighth year here at Oak Hammock. The place has a culture of happiness that makes what could be a difficult time of life highly enjoyable. There's lots to do and lots of people to befriend. And if and when things go bad, you are well taken care of.

What a beautiful community. I have sung there in the past and the people are so kind and the residents are living the life!

I am a new resident here with my husband and two puppies! We were residents of Maine and so happy there except for the winters. Finally became too much for us to handle so reluctantly sold and moved to a CCRC in Gainesville. Very happy here! Will always miss New England but happy for the warmth and companionship at this golden years stage of life!
