For the members at Oak Hammock, I did not retire nor am I on a leave of absence. On April 20th, I received a letter in the mail stating that I was terminated because I chose to take off due to COVID-19 for the interest of safety for my husband and I. They told me my job had been replaced little after a week of taking off and that I would be working in the kitchen upon my return. It hurts me to know that after 16 years of working at Oak Hammock, I was so easily replaced. I will miss the members dearly.
I have a great time with my client there. Big place.
RecommendedGreat place to live. The 78 acre campus is nestled among forests. The residents are educated, experienced, caring, interesting and fun to be with. Food is excellent, and staff are the crème de la crème as most residents would agree.
RecommendedThe atmosphere is one similar to a cruise. The furnishings and the menu is top notch as is the staff. The apartments are spacious and comfortable.
