This place was recommended to me by an old girlfriend. As cliche as it sounds, it’s true, this place saved my life, and in more ways than one. Beware of this place. Although they talk a great game they can get in over their heads and then avoid taking responsibility. The first time my daughter was in the program the same day they picked her up from the hospital she was found wandering in the middle of a busy street while under their care and luckily a Good Samaritan called me on the phone and told me she had my daughter in her car and was scared she might get hit by a car. I’ve been to luxury treatment centers but Oak Forest is the only place that’s worked for me. It’s a no-nonsense step-based recovery that gave me the tools I needed to sit in my discomfort. The camaraderie you achieve with fellow alcoholics won’t be found elsewhere. The staff is all licensed and the best in the business (most if not all are actually in recovery themselves).. Don’t do drugs, but if you do and you want to be one-and-done with treatment, Oak Forest is your best bet.

I spent most of My early 20s in jail and rehab until I came to Oak Forest they equipped me with the tools to live a successful life in recovery. They were very upfront with me and told me if I did not change 100% of everything in my life I probably wasn’t going to have a very long life expectancy!!
