I purchased a home approximately 3 years ago. since then, I have had issues with the outside A/C unit, The water heater went out and the central heat is now not working. Trim around the window is starting to fall apart. I would STRONGLY recommend buying a home from anywhere else other that Oak Creek Homes.
Remember this is not real estate. It's buying a car on a lot. There may be better dealers for the same brand. Or better sales reps at the same lot. Avoid the Abilene office (except maybe David).
We bought 2 homes from this company and they abandoned us after delivery. Multiple issues they promised to fix and now they won’t help. We have been straight lied to many times. Shop elsewhere.
My mother purchased a home from Oak Creek Homes of Seguin. Sale rep. -Adam. GM - John. Contractor- Ira Lynn. My mom has made 4 mortgage payments and has not been able to move in! The sale of the home was smooth. Adam seemed honest, and trustworthy and offered a reasonably priced home, but turns out he was only making a sale. John, the GM, has the worst customer service! We closed on June 20, 2022, house built new and set on the property September 1. We were told we should be able to move in within 90 days. Today is Dec 17, 2022 and we’re nowhere near moving in. The first crew destroyed the home. Didn’t put down any plastic or tape before texturing and painting. The trim, peel and stick flooring, carpet, tubs/showers, and fireplace covered in paint and texture. Sent a second crew to “fix” the first crew’s mess. I would not suggest anyone buy home through this dealership. We bought our home and it was delivered in January 2022, we moved in April 2022, and we have had nothing but problems with the install. Major cracks started appearing in the home, the warranty department suggested we contact HUD, which we did and the inspector said there was nothing wrong that the home just settled. It blows my mind how this company is in business! From the start it has been a complete disaster… they say they handle everything… they don’t!. You have to be the middle man in everything! They had us bring in dirt when it was in the contract.. that’s stealing! Our house sat for 8 months before we could move in… horrible experience!!! Finally we can move in! Do not waste your time!!! The people at Oak Creek homes in Seguin TX are the most disrespectful, unprofessional, useless and rude. My wife and me were looking to buy a modular home, we had land and provided all the documents and permits needed for the loan. We worked in this project for one year doing all the job that these people supposed to be doing in order to sell us the house.
