The most fitting way to describe Oak and Apple is aggressively incompetent. They are the worst property manager and company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. If you are considering renting from them despite the staggering amount of bad reviews, make sure to get receipts for everything, and get everything in writing. When my ex partner and I moved in, the dishwasher wasn’t working, the blinds were broken, the walls were still filthy, plaster in the bathroom was coming off in chunks and the outside screen door was broken. Since leaving I’ve tried to get in contact via my tenant portal and through email to transfer my remaining funds from my portal back to my bank account. Oak and Apple took over the apartment from a private landlord, and I've been trying to leave voicemails, but the mailbox is always full. I don’t know much about this company or how they operate, but in my opinion, their phone should not be full all the time. Even my support worker has called repeatedly, but no one answered. EDIT: 5 months after leaving 1 star, the answer was he had no record of me as tenant.That had me rolling on the floor laughing. How many times is he going to deny that we weren't tenants. Read a few more reviews I lost count of all that he can't remember or recall the name. He can't take the truth and hides behind his lies. Yeah, this is a property management company that can't take criticism and thinks we won't call the owner to straighten things out! Remember me NOW??

I applied for a room. They constantly asked if I’m still interested which I responded yes all the time. When the time due I have email them for about five times nobody responded. I later found out from a tenant that the room has been rented to someone. Wasted my time for almost a month. That’s so not nice at all.
