Someone else on here said: “Ann was and has been the very best bartender this side of the river. Longevity and consistantly goes a long way. Will always come back if shes working” I agree 100%. Ann is fantastic. Whatever you are paying her - increase it ◡̈ she is a gem. Since renovations & reopening the kitchen has really stepped it up a notch. Food is incredible, hot and cooked fresh with quality & consistency. The stuffed jalapeño cream cheese mushrooms really slap!
Sunday morning here is the move, got there around 10 for brunch before the crowds hit and grabbed a table by the window without any wait. The eggs benny with the smoked salmon was cooked perfectly and the hollandaise wasn't drowning everything for once. Our server remembered my usual coffee order from a few weeks back which always makes the place feel more like a neighborhood spot than just another Whyte Ave stop. Been coming here for years and it never really misses, easily one of my go-to brunch spots in the area.
