Al Nye was my uncle (my mothers brother) We have had many meetings and dinners for my husbands association down stairs. He had the best prime rib in town and also all the polish food was just like my mother used to make, especially the pelogi.(sp) I am a heck of a polish gal that can't spell pelogi. lol I know everyone in my family and a lot of my friends will miss Nye's also. Fabulous atmosphire, music. Sad to see it closing. Hoping for an April fools joke.
Still great as ever. We brought our friend EMO PHILIPS here in April after he did his show at Acme Comedy club. The 60-70 year old hipsters at the piano recognized him! Wonderfully kitschy, great food, strong drinks – Bring coins for metered parking or use the ramp kitty corner to the restaurant. Great vibe, adorable piano singer, delicious food. Try the galobky!!
