FINALLY GREEN WINDOW TREATMENTS – thank you citysearch for pointing me in the right direction. i live in a Green building in battery park, so of course i wanted environment friendly window treatment to complete the theme in the apartment. i was so happy to come across NY City Blinds; they had exactly what i was looking for. they look great and i'm happy i'm being proactive in the environment and my apartment. i have a wonderful view of the hudson and now i have a great "green" shade to frame theat spectacular view.
Awesome solar shades for my CORPORATE OFFICE! – Wow! I used NY City Blinds for my residents and now I had them do my Corporate office. First off, BEST solar shade prices in the city and great work. I had my 6500sft office finished in 2 1/2 weeks. I can't believe it! Got an estimate, ordered the solar shades and they were installed so fast. Not only do the shades look great; they really keep out the strong sun, but I still have my beautiful views of the Empire State building. I'm really happy. Thank you!
New York City Blinds was highly recommended to me by a gentleman in my building. I ALWAYS come on to Citysearch to read reviews regarding companies I intend to use. Never do business with them – Even one star is too much for them. I liked the receptionist - Dianne - and she was helpful. However, this guy Rxxx drove me crazy. He said if I could place an order on Saturday, he could install it two weeks later on Saturday. I trusted that and paid full price. (I was an idiot..) I was waiting to set an appointment, but no one contacted me even before the initial installation date. very happy with ny city blinds – impressed with the service and selection. found exactly what i was looking for at a competitive price. customer service is excellent...girls in the showroom were attentive and informative, representative who gave estimate was cordial, and the installer was impeccible. i would recommend nyc blinds to all my friends.
love my amazing shade !!! – i highly recommended nyc blind they are on time honest and after getting prices from ganovic,Manhattan shade,they are much cheaper they came on Sunday and did everything on time and i am very happy
ny city blinds are horrible...avoid – I got estimate from them and gave them cash on sight. When they finally installed them it was not what I had ordered. They hung the most toxic smelling plastic I have ever encountered. It gaves me extreme headaches and was horrible. It would take years for that smell to go away.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS....TOTAL RIPOFF!! – We had a terrible experience with NYC Blinds. I would not recommend to anyone. They showed up 3 hours late for our appointment....without a ladder and tools for installing the blinds!! I am amazed that they are able to run a business like that. So we had to wait several hours for installation..... very unthical and sleazy!! I had to take the majority of the day off of work. Do yourself a favor and do not use NYC Blinds!!!
Impressive – Renovated new apartment at 835 Fifth Avenue - called NY City Blinds for curtains and cornise...came by they did a wonderful job with living room and master bedroom. Forgot to measure 1/2 bath window (immediately made appointment for someone to come back and measure. Provided us with temporary shade free of charge and one week later, they came to install blind. For the inconveniece, this was complimentary, as well. A real stand up company.
