Great bartenders, drinks and food! Would love to see a few more lower carb options on the menu, but overall very good. Bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable, atmosphere is great.
First of all, It’s cozy, hip, and modern. love the colors and warmth. The service was great, comfortable seating. Unique inspired drink menu.. loved the monkey and the engineer! I’m GF vegetarian so not a lot of food options for me. but I enjoyed the tomato basil soup and truffle fries �
I’ve tasted Manhattans and never much cared for them. That was until I had the oak barrel aged Manhattan at the NWB. Wow! It just kept getting better. The cheese curds were awesome, excellent grilled cheese with the best tomato basil soup, outstanding. The soup was on the spicy side, perfect! The size of the shrimp on the Po Boy was impressive. We ended with the whiskey donuts. Yum! The six of us loved this place! If you like bland food , do not eat here. Great food, outstanding service.
Impressed with my first visit and will definitely be back; a welcome addition to Lisle! Variety of signature cocktails, most of which are bourbon or whiskey based, and the two I had were good and strong(29er and NWB Fashioned). Great choices for appetizers and sides if you just want to eat light. Had the burger and it was high quality beef and tasty. Whiskey donuts for dessert and I was stuffed! Server was engaging and super friendly. Can't wait to go back!
Awesome place! Very nice staff and food was great. Love the vibe and the ambiance. Drink menu is good! Would love to see some New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc on the wine list! More black bean corn salsa on the shrimp app plate (cause it is sooo good)! I would change up the variety of music. Overall you got it NWB keep it going!
