Wish I could not even give this hospital a star honestly. I have to see a specialist to fix my left knee but I was given crutches from these people that even with a shirt wrapped around the armpit part it is still 2 to 3 inches too short and I wish they would have given me something better than this brace, they said it was the smallest brace they had but yet when I stand it still slips even with the cushion that came with it. My wife recently had a visit to the Emergency Department at Legacy Emanuel, where she was seen by Lauren Eickelberg, DO. Unfortunately, our experience with this physician was very disappointing. My wife and I have been to Legacy Emanuel's Emergency Department before and have had positive experiences with both doctors and nurses, so this review is not a reflection of the hospital or the entire emergency department team. The nurses were great and tried their best but this hospital stay was ridiculous. I was supposed to get pain meds every 3 hours, by the time I would get them it was more like every 4-5 hours and me asking multiple times. I broke my wrist in two places, my hip and femur so I was in excruciating pain. I never got my food hot, they decided for me multiple times what I wanted so make sure you tell them not to house select for you. Passive aggressive operator. I called started joking around a bit because I was told I'd have to call on Monday the operator got kind of passive aggressive with me and said goodbye in the middle of what I was saying I called back to confirm whether or not it was the same operator cuz they sound familiar they confidently told me that it was them and pass me along to the manager not caring.
