We purchased an NV home 8 years ago. They installed defective Ply Gem windows. Of course the NV warranty expired by the time the windows started showing defects. We had to replace 8 windows in our home. The windows were under Ply Gem warranty but installation was not. This has cost us $2,200. NV warranty manager was of no help and even had a nasty attitude. I did not go into this process confident at all, but Lisa, Mariah, Sean, Haley, and Todd made it so smooth for me. It takes Prayer first of all don't just put it all on the company. Patience is a virtue and finances have to be coming down like waterfalls, but it will happen!
Purchased a brand new Ryan Home 10 months ago in Sussex County, DE. Substandard materials & construction methods are used. Cracked foundation wall within 4 weeks of moving in. Now we have a Warranty representative who makes promises but doesn’t do what he says he will. And tries his best to deny as many legitimate claims in the 1 year, bumper to bumper warranty period as he can. IMO this builder is poison. You’ve been advised. Sorry if I’ve offended anyone (except Ryan Homes).
