Would not recommend the lactation services at this hospital. Had 2 appointments and both were pointless; I was given information that I could have found online. One of the consultants, an elderly woman was extremely condescending; perhaps it was a generational thing but I didnt appreciate it at all. I felt worst walking out of there than I did walking in. Seek a private company instead.
If you’re looking for awful breastfeeding advice this is the place for you. My mind is honestly blown at the outrageous breastfeeding plan that was given to me. I left my appointment almost in tears, totally stressed out and overwhelmed at the plan given to me, that was in no way needed or practical whatsoever. I’d like to say this was the first time I’ve had bad breastfeeding guidance but unfortunately the novant south park breastfeeding location was just as bad when I had problems with my first.
