I’m completely disgusted by the blatant disregard for black women! They dismissed the pain of a woman who was obviously in excruciating pain and sent her home to die, where she documented her experience until her demise. When are we going to start trusting women and validating their pain? Is protocol to ignore a full term woman coming in and complaining of crippling pain??? This can’t be anything other than blatant racism. You clearly don’t trust black woman to adequately describe their pain and experiences.
"I’ve i been having excruciating stomach pain cramps and they’re not doing anything about it my whole left stomach is hard and in pain I’m literally dying" & "they said there’s nothing they can do" "they just checked the baby that’s it" Lashonda Hazard, PREGNANT, age 27. DIED January 6, 2019 after NOT receiving the attention she deserved.
How unbelievably negligent and gross is your hospital practices and behaviors. I should not know who Lashonda Hazard is all the way in SC because you murdered her and her unborn child. I hope you forever remember her and what you allowed to happen. I hope her family sues and takes you under!
this is not a safe space for black women. Google Lashonda Hazard. presented with extreme abdominal/pelvic pain during pregnancy, was sent home to die. denied care by this racist hospital.
