UPDATE2: SO, the front desk hung up on me 4 times in a row at 1:13 pm today because they just don't want to work. I needed info on my lens. They transfered me to a voicemail. Fine. A minute later I called back for my medical records: They answer, giggle and up. Mistake? I call back: Answer- put on hold, then hang up on. I call again 2 times: They just don't answer. The staff is very friendly and professional. Beautiful frames to choose from. I am very pleased with the staff and selection of frames.
As an Alumni, I love everything about NSU. What they do for veterans elevates them to the highest level, at the eye institute. They did thorough eye exams for both myself and my daughter, they explained what was going on with our visions. Every thing they did was explained to us. We were both provided with glasses 🤓 free of charge, which saved this Veteran and single mom lots of money 💴. Thank you NSU. I would recommend them to everyone.
Worst Scheduler. Giovanni, staff member who coordinates your appointments is extremely rude and unprofessional. Would not recommend vision therapy at Nova. Exam was thorough and doctor spent a lot of time explaining results. Following the exam you are paired up with a 4th year ophthalmology student for a few weeks then you get a new student. The student we had was very nice but didn’t seem very educated about the therapy methods and reasoning. Overall not the best experience with the therapy side of the vision department.
