We had a great experience working with Ryan and his team on our basement and absolutely love how everything turned out. Ryan is very professional, experienced, and super easy to work with. He always checked with us, listened to what we wanted, and gave us great advice and ideas along the way. What we really appreciated is that he thinks about what works best for the overall style and vibe of the basement instead of always recommending the most expensive option. He was also very flexible whenever we wanted to add, remove, or ... read more

We had our basement finished with a home gym build with a children climbing station, bathroom spa area with sauna and steam shower, a wet bar, a library, a relaxation space outside the bathroom spa, a guest bedroom, and plumbing addition for a second set of washer/dryer. Ryan was an absolute professional. He completed the full basement project 100% on time and at the agreed upon budget. Most importantly, the quality of his work was impeccable. Working with Ryan eliminated the typical experience of multiple sub-contractors. He did everything himself. He went above and beyond to design and then redesign a built in golf simulator room within the larger basement when the equipment spec change to a larger size. I could not be happier with the result. Great guy. Quality work.

Finishing our basement was a long time dream project and we had plenty of ideas around the vision of an ideal basement, one that caters to all our needs yet presents the final product in its most effective aesthetic setting. We needed a partner who could advise us, challenge us and deliberate with us on design and execution. After a reasonable search we fortuitously found Ryan Overmyer of Northville Finished Basements. Me and my wife cannot say enough great things about Ryan’s meticulous process, planning, design and executi... read more
