I have stage IV metastatic lung cancer, COPD and was refused palliative care by the Director in Matthews, NC . I have a lot of orthopedic issues casing pain and I feel this is the reason. I’ve had to contact another cancer institute as well as seeing a pain management Dr. Because of the fear of opioid misuse by physicians, people can’t get help with chronic and debilitating pain. This is so sad.
