After my miscarriage, Dr. Menezes ignored my MyChart messages for two months. She refused to answer my questions, disregarded my calls, and even ignored the charge nurse who reached out on my behalf. When she finally did respond, she couldn’t even take the time to spell my name correctly and never answered my questions. I felt very invalidated by dr Sharmetris Watkins. As I expressed test that I wanted due to symptoms and knowing my body and such, she always had a response that came off rude and like I’m dumb instead of validating me, listening and asking more questions to figure out a solution. I debated writing this until I seen another review that basically validated my experience and confirmed it wasn’t just me or I was reading into things. Dr. Menezes is the Doctor you WANT to see at this location! I don’t know about you - but if you could imagine the most perfect Doctor to take care of all the vaginal needs! If you’re pregnant, menopausal, old, young, retired, married, divorced, etc. no worries!!! She will find a way to relate and make you feel at ease! She is so professional and has the best bedside manners!! I’m sorry for all of those of you who haven’t had the pleasure of being her patient, but do yourself a favor and book her!!!!!
Dr. Menezes is a truly phenomenal doctor. She is attentive, patient, non-judgemental, and informative. Across my routine gynecological care and now through my first pregnancy she has never rushed an appointment, dismissed a question or concern, and has consistently supported me in making informed medical decisions.
