I will do all I can to not use or recommend Novant’s services in the future. Charging someone for a required pre-operation appointment, prior to finding out if the procedure will be authorized by a person’s insurance is completely wrong. Just because your providers office did not do their due diligence to get a pre-authorization ahead of a procedure, yet still fell the need to require a pre-operation appointment, then decide to send 2 different bills (totaling more than $600) for a pre-operation appointment that led to a can... read more

ER attendant asked for debit card even before my wife, who was suffering of chest pains, was seen by anyone. Told there was a $200 copay. When I get the receipt I notice I was charged $800 - when I asked why the difference the ER attendant stared screaming and telling everyone in the area that she "knew how to do her job" and if I didn't like it I could take my "so-called" sick wife elsewhere.. Around midnight of July 12th, 2022, I called an ambulance to take my ex-husband, Keith D. Knott, to the hospital as he was losing control of bodily functions and had a temperature of 103.6. I put an adult diaper on him before they picked him up to take to Kernersville Novant Medical Center. He remained in the ER waiting for a room until late Thursday afternoon. My bariatric surgeon sent me here for an IV infusion following a gastric sleeve. Then Tammy C. a member of the transfusion team wrote a complete lie in my chart. I hadn’t had any food and was drinking less than 15 ounces a day (that’s why I needed an infusion to prevent dehydration). Tammy C. was upset that I picked up a lollipop from a basket at the entrance. She rudely informed me the lollipops were for the people getting flu shots.
