Ben was the best nurse ever! He helped my son feel comfortable and gave us the best care. The doctor was so nice and knew exactly what to do to help him feel better. All of the desk people were cheerful and made it the best experience. My son went from being scared and hurting to feeling better and being so happy we went to the hospital!
I am extremely concerned about the care my 10-year-old daughter received during her second psychiatric admission to the emergency room.The nurse assigned to her, Hannah L., RN, and the nursing assistant, Amariah C., CNA, were unprofessional in their interactions. Our recent experience with a pediatrician Dr. Cody Carpenter at Novant Hemby Children’s ER was deeply disappointing and, frankly, alarming. We brought in our five-month-old son, who has a known history of severe respiratory illness (including a prior two-week hospitalization for RSV).
