Dayna Slomba is the best and most caring provider I’ve seen ever. The care and compassion she puts into her work truly makes a difference . My baby ultimately may not want to breastfeed long term, but Dayna reassured me that I was doing everything I could and she continued to try to encourage me to not give up but also respecting my limits and mental health as breastfeeding can be so draining if baby won’t latch, or supply is low. Dayna Slomba is a rockstar! I was referred to her due to my daughter struggling to latch and feed effectively as a result of tongue ties, which was ultimately slowing down her growth. From the initial appointment, Dayna was so welcoming, caring, and knowledgeable. We have been working with her for multiple sessions and have gotten creative to try to get my little one on the right path with feeding. I had the most wonderful experience with Dayna! My newborn and I could not figure out our latch to the point where I almost gave up breastfeeding altogether. We went to see Dayna and I was scared because of how raw my breast were and nervous because I did not have to have a lactation consultation with my first child. I was referred for a breastfeeding consultation after my newborn lost too much weight. This is my second baby, and I really did not want to attend yet another appointment, but I am glad I did. All of the consultants were great when I was in the labor and delivery ward, and I was not disappointed when I came in for my outpatient appointment post-delivery. I had Pam, and she was excellent.
