I had a deeply disappointing experience with Dr. Jennifer Mitch at Novant that has permanently impacted my trust in this practice. I scheduled a routine preventive exam. During the visit, I raised a health concern, which I believed was appropriate in the context of a checkup. Do not waste your time going here. The doctors are very dismissive and the receptionists and nurses are unprofessional and rude. In the last year, every time I have been to this office I have been brushed off or belittled. They don’t seem to listen or care about your concerns and are overall just careless.

First of all, when I found out I was pregnant, I called this clinic, which was the closest one to my home, to make an appointment with an OB asap, I was told I won’t be seen until I was 8 or 9 weeks pregnant, I explained that it was my first time getting pregnant and I wanted to be prepared and make sure things were going the right way, the front desk woman said pregnant women in the old times had no OBGYN and still survived, no need to see an OB before 8 weeks pregnant. The medical team did not adequately address my pain or blood pressure concerns, resulting in a four-day hospital stay on magnesium, separated from my child. I believe Dr. Zack's attention to my concerns could have prevented this outcome. I have since transferred to a new OB/GYN who is more responsive to my needs.
