Unfortunately, this Novant location is not a safe space for Black women. I’ve now had 2 bad experiences at this ER for shortness of breath and heart pain. Dr. Andrea DuPont was condescending and only came back and tried to be courteous after I asked to change doctors which they didn’t. She spoke to me like I was a child even though I’m nearly 30 and gaslit me about my symptoms.
