My wife visited, from a doctor's referral. She has insulin resistance. She's also an outlier case because she has an eating disorder and does not struggle with overeating (her condition is likely genetic as type 1 diabetes runs in her family). Less than 6 months ago, she was in ED treatment for anorexia. She has her own team of dieticians and therapists. She visited this facility on referral from her OGBYN, and just came back in tears. Dr Chaudhary and team does excellent support to help patients meet their goal
I don’t understand how the reviews are high. Maybe fake, maybe compensated. Anyway, I went yesterday to establish care after moving to VA recently and had an awful experience. Basically, they give you a “meal plan” which consists of stuff we all know—eat more protein and veg, less cake and ice cream. Ok. Then I waited to speak with the doctor, who ended up not showing up and made me have a virtual appt with him.
